Salad Dressings and Salads

Simple Buttermilk Dressing
Avocado Green Goddess Dressing
Romaine with anchovy dressing
Caesar Parmesan Dressing
Chef's Balsamic Vinaigrette
This Caesar sounds good but strip out the brand name crap. Cut the recipe into 1/3.

Emergency Salad
When Rusty is not here, nuke Costco Stir Fry Veggies 7 minutes in a bowl in a plastic bag so they steam. Then add 3 Tbs(at least) of Bariani extra virgin olive oil (Spectrum brand may be better) and 1.5 Tbs(it is stronger than regular vinegar by 25%) of Federico white wine vinegar. Salt and pepper. I go heavy on salt and pepper.

Awesome with some small canned clams (California Girl) added.

Cider vinegar tastes better. Also, now landen favors Napa Naturals EVOO.
Same dressing works great on plain cauliflower, broccioli, or carrots if you dont have a mix. Soy sauce instead of salt is good. Thai fish sauce if great with the clams. (only if you like it)

mock sour cream
* 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
* 1/4 cup skim-milk buttermilk
* 1/2 teaspoon (or more) fresh lemon juice
